This policy explains how Vooka collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website, visit our showrooms or buy from us. It follows the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore).

1. Who we are

In Malaysia, your data is handled by Vooka International Group (M) Sdn Bhd (Reg. 958448-K / 201101030313), No 25, Jalan INR 1, Taman Industri Nautical, 48000 Rawang, Selangor.

In Singapore, your data is handled by Vooka International Group Pte. Ltd. (Reg. 201532668Z), 2 Gambas Crescent #08-17 Nordcom II, Singapore 757044.

In this policy, “Vooka”, “we” and “us” mean whichever of these companies you deal with.

2. What personal data we collect

  • Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and the country you are based in.
  • Order and delivery details: your delivery address, building access notes, the products you buy and your payment records.
  • Sleep preferences: anything you choose to tell us about how you sleep, so we can recommend a mattress.
  • Technical data: your IP address, browser type, pages visited and cookie data.

3. How we collect it

We collect data when you send an enquiry through this website, visit a showroom, call, email or message us, place an order, book a delivery or trial collection, or browse this website (through cookies and server logs).

4. How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and recommend products.
  • To process orders, arrange delivery and set-up, and handle trial returns, warranty claims and after-sales service.
  • To show you the right prices and products for your country.
  • To send you news and offers, only if you have agreed to receive them.
  • To improve this website and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

5. Consent

By giving us your details for an enquiry or an order, you agree that we may use them for that purpose. For marketing, we ask separately. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us at the address in section 13. If you withdraw consent we need to complete an order, we may not be able to complete it.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • the other Vooka company, when you deal with both countries;
  • delivery, installation and collection partners;
  • payment and financing providers;
  • IT, hosting and email service providers who work for us;
  • authorities, when the law requires it.

Your data may be moved between Malaysia and Singapore for these purposes. We protect it to the same standard in both countries.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it, for the length of any warranty, and for as long as tax and accounting law requires. After that we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

We protect your data with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure hosting. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them, and similar browser storage, to keep the website working, to remember which country’s prices you are viewing, and to understand how visitors use the site. We estimate your country from your IP address to show the right prices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work properly.

10. Your rights

You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing. Write to us at the address in section 13. We will reply within 21 days in Malaysia and 30 days in Singapore. Where the law allows, we may charge a small fee for access requests.

11. Links and minors

This website may link to other sites, such as social media pages. Their own privacy policies apply there. This website is not meant for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data without a parent’s or guardian’s consent.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The new version applies from the date shown at the top of this page.
